In short
Zpørre does not collect personal information about you. There is no account, no sign-in, no tracking, no advertising, no analytics and no marketing tools. The app can be used anonymously.

What we process
1. Data stored only on your device
When you play, the app stores the following locally on your own device (in the browser's localStorage):
- Streak statistics (number of consecutive days played)
- Results and badges you have earned
- Preferences set inside the app
This data never leaves your device. It is not sent to us and is not accessible to anyone else. Uninstalling the app or clearing your browser data deletes all of it.
2. Requests to our server
The app fetches quiz content from our server at
api.zporre.no. As with any use of the Internet, the
server briefly sees your IP address as part of the request. We
do not store IP addresses, do not log requests
tied to individual users and do not build any profile of you.
The service is hosted by Cloudflare; their security logs may
temporarily contain IP addresses according to their
privacy policy.
3. Third parties
The app uses no third-party SDKs, tracking, advertising, analytics or external resources. Fonts and images are served from our own server.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages. Since we do not collect any personal information, this also applies to children.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, correct and erase personal data about you. As Zpørre does not collect such data, there is nothing to disclose or erase on our side. You can delete local data yourself by uninstalling the app or clearing your browser data.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) if you believe we process your personal data in breach of the law.
Changes
If we change this privacy policy, the updated date will appear at the top of the page. Material changes will also be communicated inside the app.
